Imagine a decvice that is approximately 3" X 4" that is strategically
placed in a corner of your home so that the stairway that leads to your

Now imagine an invisible beam that casts a net that goes up to 40 ft
long. Anything or anyone that crosses that "net" or invisible barrier
will trigger an alarm signal immediately.

Standard Hardwired

DSC & Ademco both make a reliable motion
sensor. An example of this is the DSC
Bravo 2 Motion Sensor. This is a hardwired device will
trigger any movement in the
house that triggers the invisible beam. If you have an indoor
pet...this particular motion sensor may not be for you.
Standard Wireless
Motion Sensor:
These work
the same way as the hardwired version above...except they are wireless
via battery back up. This variety comes in handy if your home was not
pre-wired or you do not have basement or attic accessability to run
wires. Likewise, if you have a pet...I would not recommend this
specific device.
